Spoonfuls

Spoonfuls is dedicated to facilitating the rescue and distribution of healthy, fresh food that would otherwise be discarded throughout Boston and surrounding communities. Breaking new ground in the food rescue movement, they connect community resources by linking grocery stores, produce wholesalers, and farms to local meal programs and social service entities serving those in need.

Fair Foods is a non-profit food rescue organization dedicated to providing surplus goods at low or no cost to those in need. Since 1988, they have rescued and delivered millions of pounds of fresh produce and quality building supplies to low income communities throughout New England and around the world.

As part of the local and global community, Whole Foods Market has programs that create economic partnerships with the poor, support schools in providing nutrition education, and offer low-interest loans to small local producers. Whole Foods has provided grocery bags to Lifeboat since its inception in 2017.

Fenway CDC

Fenway Community Development Corporation improves the lives of over 1,000 adults, children, and youth each year. They help their community access affordable housing, social services, education,  job skills training, employment, fresh produce, financial workshops, health programs, and civic engagement activities.
